Transmission Protocol of Emergency Messages in VANET Based on the Trust Level of Nodes

Vehicle Ad Hoc Networks(VANETs) can help reduce traffic accidents and improve road safety by broadcasting Emergency Messages(EMs) between vehicles in advance so that the vehicle take action to avoid accidents. However, Its advantages are often compromised factors such as high mobility, uneven nodes’ distribution, signal attenuation, resulting lower reliability higher delay delivery of EMs. Besides, because its open VANETs vulnerable cyber security threats prone multiple malicious attacks network. Malicious nodes join set candidate forwarding through collusion identity forgery, which poses a serious challenge EMs forwarding. In order resolve problems above, this paper proposes geographic routing strategy deliver based on trusted nodes, focusing measuring link quality node quality. The is evaluated actual transmission cost signal-to-noise ratio minimize possible interruption; at same time, trust value introduced measure credibility filter out research results show protocol suitable for dense sparse conditions, detect identify has significant performance improvements message rate, end-to-end delay, network throughput.
